VpwsSite

This class represents the BGP VPWS Service Site Instance. It represents a point to point Ethernet Pipe Service. epipe.VpwsSite does not have a limitation of having only two L2AccessInterfaces. The service signaling works using the BGP-EVPN technology.

vpwsFxcMode "The value of svcVpwsSymmetrical determines the behavior at the service.egress (tunnel.egress) direction. When the value is set to 'symmetrical', the vpws service is in symmetrical mode. The vlan normalization takes place as per sap.ingress configuration (sapBaseInfoIngressQtagManipulateAction, sapBaseInfoIngressQtagOuterTag and sapBaseInfoIngressQtagInnerTag). On the opposite direction at service.egress sap lookup is performed on the 'normalized qtag(s)'. When the value is set to 'asymmetrical', the vpws service is in asymmetrical mode. The qtag normalization is still carried out as per sap.ingress configuration before the packet is switched out from the service.interface. On the opposite direction, at service.egress, unlike symmetrical mode, sap lookup is performed on the 'original' qtags; the tags configured during sap creation. Qtags packet is switched over the service.interface, is not used for sap lookup.

ethernetSwitchCardPointer On 1830 PSS nodes, new cards like 11QPE24 supports E-LAN (VPLS) and later E-Line (VLL); other cards will follow. All of these cards support the SR-OS object model and behave similar to 7210 nodes. This object represents a service object on a given a site and card. This attribute is a pointer to the card model object.

vcId The virtual circuit identifier. For VPLS/MVPLS services on 7750/7450/7710-family nodes, it inherits the value of the default Mesh VC ID from the VPLS/MVPLS service component and the value is used for Mesh SDP Bindings. For 7250 nodes, it is the VC ID used for spoke SDP Bindings.
