Peer

Identifies a peer router that is used to pair the Multi-Chassis LAGs and/or Inter-Box Sync ports configured in this router. A LAG or port in this router can be paired with a corresponding object in the peer router. Multiple peer routers can be configured on a router for cases where some of the LAGs/ports are paired with corresponding objects on one peer while some others are paired with corresponding objects on a different peer router. There is no one-to-one relationship between a Multi-Chassis LAG/Inter-Box Sync port and this object. This object is shared between all the Multi-Chassis LAGs and Inter-Box Sync ports configured on a given peer router. This means that the values of the properties configured for this object including the administrative state is applicable to all the Multi-Chassis LAGs and Inter-Box Sync ports that are paired with the peer router.
