| Properties | |
|---|---|
| cdvt |
Specifies the cell delay variation tolerance, in microseconds.
type=long default=250 minimum=0 maximum=4294967295 Displayed(tab/group)=CDVT (QoS) |
| clpTagging |
Specifies whether or not to enable cell loss priority tagging for ATM cells in a VPRN and IES
service. When the value is enabled, tagged cells which exceed the allowed limit are discarded
if congestion occurs on the network. The value can be set to enabled on ATM MDAs and ASAP MDAs.
type=boolean default=false Displayed(tab/group)=CLP Tagging (QoS) |
| descriptorType |
Specifies the type of ATM traffic descriptor profile, based on the ATM Forum Traffic Management
Specification. The descriptor type defines interpretation of traffic parameters that are
specified for this profile. The Descriptor Type parameter is configurable depending on the
option selected for the Service category parameter. The Policing parameter must be enabled
for the Descriptor Type parameter to be configurable.
type=atmpolicy.TdpDescrType default=clp0And1pcr Displayed(tab/group)=Descriptor Type (QoS) |
| mbs |
Specifies the maximum number of ATM cells in a burst that can be transmitted at the peak rate.
The parameter appears when the Service Category parameter is set to rt-VBR or nrt-VBR.
type=long default=32 minimum=0 maximum=4294967295 units=cells Displayed(tab/group)=MBS (QoS) |
| mir |
Identifies the Minimum Information Rate in kilobits per second.
type=long default=0 minimum=0 maximum=4294967295 units=kbps Displayed(tab/group)=MIR (QoS) |
| pir |
Identifies the peak information rate in kilobits per second.
type=long default=4294967295 minimum=0 maximum=4294967295 units=kbps Displayed(tab/group)=PIR (QoS) |
| policing |
type=boolean default=false Displayed(tab/group)=Policing (QoS) |
| serviceCategory |
The Service Category parameter determines the priority a connection receives when requesting
network bandwidth, based on the type of traffic.
type=atmpolicy.ServiceCategory default=ubr Displayed(tab/group)=Service Category (QoS) |
| shaping |
Specifies the shaping for egress direction traffic that uses the CBR, nrt-VBR, rt-VBR, and UBR
service categories. For egress traffic, if the parameter is enabled, the sum of the traffic
descriptor rate (PIR for CBR, SIR for rt-VRB or nrt-VBR, MIR for UBR) and the consumed shaped
bandwidth on the ATM interface cannot exceed the physical speed of the ATM interface.
type=boolean default=false Displayed(tab/group)=Shaping (QoS) |
| sir |
Specifies the sustained information rate based on the average cell rate of a traffic source.
SIR is an upper bound on the conforming average rate of an ATM connection over time scales which
are long, relative to those for which the PCR is defined. The parameter appears when the Service
Category parameter is set to rt-VBR or nrt-VBR.
type=long default=0 minimum=0 maximum=4294967295 units=kbps Displayed(tab/group)=SIR (QoS) |
| vpShapingWeight |
Specifies the relative weight assigned to this ATM traffic descriptor with respect to ATM VP shaper
scheduling. The value of tAtmTdpWeight is only relevant for MDA where the value of
atmMode is equal to max16kVc, and is ignored otherwise.
If the value of tAtmTdpWeight is not specified when the conceptual row is created, the weight is
derived from the ATM service category: CBR 10 rt-VBR 7 nrt-VBR 5 UBR+ (nonzero MIR) 2 UBR (zero MIR) 1.
type=long default=1 minimum=1 maximum=255 Displayed(tab/group)=VP Shaping Weight (QoS) |
