All CPAAs in this redundancy group must belong to the same autonomous system and have the same level capability (all L1 with L1/L2 allowed, or all L2 with L1/L2 allowed). When a router is L1/L2, and is part of an L1 redundancy group, it is only L1 redundant, and vice versa for L2 redundancy group and L1/L2.
There may only be a single L2 redundancy group per IGP administrative domain.
