Package shg

The XML API uses the shg package to configure and manage split horizon groups that control traffic flowing through SAPs or spoke SDPs for a VPLS or M-VPLS. Split horizon groups can span multiple devices and prevent a packet received on a SAP within the group from being propagated to other members of the group. Split horizon groups are defined when you create or modify a service. They can support a mix of spoke and SAP sites for each NFM-P. Every split horizon group must have a unique name within each VPLS or M-VPLS.

7210 SAS nodes support supports Split horizon group feature at port and lag level. Traffic arriving on a access or a access-uplink port within a split horizon group will not be copied to other access and access-uplink ports in the same split horizon group.
