Package l2fib

The l2fib package configures and manages the FIB entries associated with Layer 2-based services. The FIB entries list the learned MAC addresses of the Layer 2-based services that use FIBs. FIB information for each service type, such as VPLS, may include FIB size limits, static MAC addresses, alarms, and discarding unknown locations.

You can create and manage FIBs:

• on a global basis
• for each subscriber
• for each service site
• for each access interface
• for each circuit
